Notes:
Good views over the Maribyrnong river valley from the low hill here, including the former ammunition factory (likely to be developed for housing). Formal and informal walking paths wind around the hill and escarpment and down to the water's edge, although small gravel pits and chain wire fences may impede access. The Maribyrnong River Trail continues on to Steele Creek to the north.
Key features:
The hill contains a shrubby grassland with remnant Kangaroo Grass (Themeda triandra), spear grasses (Austrostipa species), Cottony Fireweed (Senecio quadridentatus), Flax-lilies (Dianella species) and others.
