Grasslands are not invisible
Incredibly, no decent, ground-truthed map of our grasslands exists. That shows how ignored and under-resourced our grasslands are. No wonder they are critically endangered.
This database and accompanying map are very much a work in progress. They are put out into the wild to grow with your help. We’d love any feedback. Please send us corrections, content, links, pics and thoughts on useability.
Ironically, we’re using ecommerce product catalog software, so feel free to shop around! Who says a ‘Green Wall Street’ can’t work?
Amberfield Grassland
A small suburban grassland notable for council-led community engagement design. Good signage and fencing, co-located with shelter and play.

4: Stylish fencing lifts the interface

Many thanks to Ben Courtice, Dave Kendal, Dee Smith and Dylan Wishart for their work on this. And to Friends of Grasslands, who generously funded some of the work.
