The Grassy Plains Network is a subcommittee of the Indigenous Flora & Fauna Association.
GPN includes representatives of many of the community and neighbourhood conservation groups in Melbourne’s west, ecology academics and researchers, and professionals working in private and local government organisations in conservation and planning. We welcome new members and supporters! Please get in touch if you want to join in our work.
The network was founded in 2018, when it organised the public conference Respect, Protect & Re-connect Melbourne’s Grassy Plains. We have been meeting and holding discussions and meetings with state government representatives, Traditional Owners, conservation organisations, and other stakeholders since then.
